SKIT #2: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. PRESIDENT

Yolanda's cash award envelope contained $1,970. Geoff pays her off, and she's thinking it over. Finally she decides to go for the box. Geoff is a bit excited about this one...

Yolanda is about to be visited by the President of Treasure Hunt and All Versions of Treasure Hunt Worldwide, the one and only Treasure W. Hunt, Sr.!

The audience gives him a standing ovation as he enters with a pair of fabulous babes, throwing his cash around aimlessly.

Geoff has to remind him that he's at his show, and once Treasure gets his bearings back, he tells "Yolinda" (Geoff: "Yolanda, sir") that she is cordially invited to his 100th birthday party, but she needs to R.S.V.P. immediately. Yolanda accepts, and President Hunt is pleased.

He gives her some instructions: "Bring me a gift and make it good. You'll find some spending money in the box."

Treasure W. Hunt leaves, and Geoff enthusiastically digs into the box to find the spending money promised.

He finds a tambourine, a horn, a cone hat, a noisemaker, and a party favor. So Yolanda is set for partying, but there's still no cash. It must be hidden in a prop, so Geoff begins manically destroying everything he pulled out of the box.

But it's not there, and Geoff seems to feel terrible about it. He consoles her and tells her that even though she won't have a present to bring, Yolanda will still have a good time at the party. To try and cheer her up, Geoff blows into the one party favor he didn't ruin, and it unravels.

Does it seem to you that something is taped to this thing?

It's some kind of note! Geoff frantically pulls it apart and finds out it's a check, and according to the information on the check Yolanda's spending money for the party comes to a total of...

FIVE DOLLARS!

Well, Yolanda has five dollars to spend on a present for Treasure W. Hunt, Sr., but at least it'll be easy for Yolanda to gather that five dollars...

After she's cashed her check for $5,000!!!

SKIT #3: GARAGE SALE

Renee's cash award envelope was hiding $2,425. Geoff hands her a huge stack of hundred-dollar bills and reminds her "it could be something good, could be a klunk, could be $25,000..."

She's going for the box.

Geoff seems discouraged by what's in there, whatever it is...

It's a "Garage Sale" sign and a pile of knick-knacks, so Renee is going to try to make a little cash from whatever customers she and Geoff can round up...

Her first customer is "Treasure Hunt" recurring character Pieface, who seems particularly fascinated by the Oriental cookie jar. He offers her five dollars. Geoff pulls her aside and tells her that the jar is probably worth more than five dollars, and Renee nervously agrees, so she and Geoff decide to play hardball.

Pieface surprises Geoff by increasing his offer to twenty dollars.

Geoff takes Renee aside and says that Pieface might know something about the jar that they don't. So Geoff tells Renee to keep holding out to see if Pieface will go any higher. Pieface's final offer is $40. Geoff is convinced that there's something good in that cookie jar and tells Renee that they should keep haggling.

The plan backfires and Pieface walks away. Geoff is dying to see what Pieface knew about the cookie jar, so he takes a peek inside...and it turns out there was something really good in that cookie jar. And what's inside that cookie jar is TWENTY-FIVE...

Almond cookies.

(In a funny unplanned moment, an angry friend of Renee's screams at Geoff, "Don't do that!")

Geoff glances down at the lid of the cookie jar, which has something hidden in the crease...She's won TEN THOUSAND...

Yen. U.S. value in 1976: forty bucks.

Renee heads back to her seat, but Geoff reminds her that she needs to take all the knick-knacks that she didn't sell in the garage sale. Geoff reminds her that she needs to take that and all the other items in her garage and make sure she sells as much as possible in her next sale, because she's going to need all that extra garage space, now that she's the proud owner of...

A new Chevrolet station wagon, valued at $7,878.62!!! Congrats, Renee!
